Yes, I'm pretty sure. You could always get a Network card that plugs into your USB, it doesn't have to be wireless.

Are you talking about bridging for Halo 2 or halo 3? If halo 2, then the IPs you listed above are all you need. If halo 3, then you need the halo 3 ranges and your friends IP. You don't need Cain if you are bridging with the method listed in this tutorial.

65.59.234.0 - 65.59.234.255
65.55.42.0 - 65.55.42.225

These are the ranges right? that will be in the trusted and my friends IP and im good then?

Give thanks if we helped. But, in social you don't have to lower your firewall. You can just keep it up the whole time. Just something to tell you to make it easier.

I did this and it worked fine, but now it says they are both enabled but my wireless on the bottom right shows a red X on it. So it is disconnected. I guess this is the cause of why Microsoft won't come up on Cain. Help?

I can't get my Local Area Connection, Wireless and Bridge connection to be on all at the same time :/

There is always one unplugged

In social all you have to do is leave your firewall on high to bridge someone host. Of course you have to have their IP and all the normal necessary bridging materials, but you can just leave your firewall on high. In ranked you have to bridge by putting your firewall down when you find everyone and then putting it back up, you CAN'T just leave it on high. As long as you have the person's IP and it is in your trusted and they aren't host banned it should work. And thank you for that amazing comment, it made my day.

Do you have to use ZoneAlarm firewall on your laptop?
Or can i do the firewall on my desktop, which isn't hooked up wirelessly.

You can use any firewall that you can figure out how to use and allows you to add IPs.

Re: ICS Bridging - Laptop/Wireless Bridging using Command Prompt

When i do this it works perfectly fine for about 30 mins and then my wireless will disconnect and not connect anymore. When i go into my zero config to view the wireless networks to connect to it says i am connected to my router, in the description, yet in the upper right corner it says "not connected". No matter what i try it wont connect to my router. Any one know what is going on here?
