can anyone help me????

i am new to cain & abel. We have a network of computers at my hostel. many of my friends are connected via LAN set up by ourselves in the hostel using lan ports and few servers for internet connection. we use proxy settings. suppose my server is having the ip as 192.168.10.1 and netmask 255.255.255.0 .Mine ip is 192.168.10.2 and two of my friends have the ip 192.168.10.3 and 192.168.10.4. we all have a common server. now what i want is that i want to capture the packets between the server and one of my friends by sitting on my own machine which is not the server.

when i started using apr poisoning, it is showing me thata there is transfer of packets but i am not able to see the packets or whatever they are doing....

can anyone help me how i cansolve this problem or some other way to do this so that the problem can be solved. I would be very thankful to you....
