Halo 2 Modding: Slight Auto aim

This is a discussion about Halo 2 Modding: Slight Auto aim within the Halo 2 Beginner Mod Tutorials section, where you will Learn the basics to Halo 2 Modding. Learn how to properly mod a map, encrypt a map, resign a map and load your modded map on the Xbox.; I am not sure if its been posted here before.. but every tut on 360 auto aim says to put the values at 360... so obviously they wouldnt know how to make slight auto aim.

Halo 2 Modding: Slight Auto aim

I am not sure if its been posted here before.. but every tut on 360 auto aim says to put the values at 360... so obviously they wouldnt know how to make slight auto aim.

Ok you want some legit mods? You set the auto aim to 20 but still have 360 degree auto aim? This is because the Auto aim values in dothalo and other programs are not in degrees.. they are in radians. 1 radians = 57.2957795 degrees... so if you want 360 degree auto aim.. you only need to put about 6.2 as the angles.

Ok now to get the auto aim you want. Say you want 20 degree auto aim and 1 degrees = 0.0174532925 radians.. simply put in 20 x 0.0174532925 in a calculator.. which equates to about 0.34906585... now you can see why putting 20 as the value does not give you 20 degree auto aim.

Hope this helps... i know alot of ppl who do not know this.. as every tutorial says to put in 360 or 400 as the auto aim value... anything over 6 would do the job.

I know there is limited point to actually doing this as Halo 3 will be out soon and you cant mod in matchmaking.. but i'd just thought i'd clear this up.
