How To Shoot Sticky's From Any Weapon (pics for all you noobs)

In this tutorial you will learn how to make a weapon shoot out sticky, or plasma granades.

The programs you will need are:
UMP V3, Contains Dothalo: RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting
Dothalo: Download UMP V3 To Get This.
Flash FXP:
Clean Halo 2 Maps: UN-Modded Maps - ********** Forums

Thats it.

Now for the actual tutorial.

Step One Opening Your Map:

1. Go into UMP V3, and click on Dothalo.


2. Once Inside Dothalo, click open and select your map, for this tutorial we will be using containment.

Step Two Finding The Tags And Changing The Dependencies:

1. Find the [weap] tag.


2. Open the [weap] tag and find the gun you would like to shoot out stickys, for this tutorial we will be using the Plasma Rifle.


3. Now go into the Dependencies window.


4. Once in the Dependencies window go to the proj. tag and select it.


5. Now go to the little drop down arrow and look for this tag:

(the tags name is the plasma granade, its self explanitory.)

6. Once you have changed the tag to the plasma granade, hit save changes in the dependencies box.

Step Four Changing The Plasma Granade Speed (So it Doesnt Fall in Front Of You.)

1. go to the [proj] tag, in the tags window.


2. Expand it and find the plasma granade.


3. Now go into the tags editor. It should look like the picture below.


4. Now look for the words "intiate projectile speed" and "final projectile speed".


5. Now highlight the number 0 for either one of them.


6. Now change the speed on both of them (highlight them one at a time and type in 600) to 600. Like in the picture below.

Saving Changes:

1. Go into the main tags menu, and click save changes.


congrats just resign your map and you are done.
