actually to tell the truth i dont make tracks, in fact ive never made one.

i just know how to, so i wrote this tut.

i do BSP mods sometimes and SP-MP conver. but i dont make tracks..

i already have made things like a racetrack, i made a tower of fusion cores (like a pyrimid) and they were all fine..

i try opening the RAW editor in entity and it wont work, it says applicaation error, an din the beta there is no raw editor, can any1 help?

there is a raw editor, its under tools.

OK so I noticed several people needed help and more detailed explanation of how to use this, so here try this and see if it helps.

1. You MUST make a folder that has containment.map, shared.map, mainmenu.map, and single_player.map in it. when u open up containment, use the one in that folder.

2. in BSP Viewer, if u hold down the right mouse button, you can change the camera view just like the right analog stick in halo 2.

3. u must be using entity alpha, not beta

4. to get it to reload every time, instead of using CMR, use samesig.

To resign a map using samesig, open it up.
make it so that beginning end string table is selected, then hit execute. select your CLEAN , UNMODDED version of containment. then select the version u just modded. [there will be a few more files in that folder, because u edited it, select containment.map]

a message will pop up, hit ok/yes.
another message pops up, hit yes

wait 15 seconds and a third will pop up, hit done.

now open up the folder with mainmenu and shared and containment [modded]

there will be a containment.map and a containment.map.map

delete the containment.map and rename containment.map.map to containment.map.

FTP it to your xbox and your done!!

this tut is fine.

i learned how to make tracks out of it for containment.

unforunatly i tried this same setup for relic to make a race track or liek a tower of pink dune gates and it did not work. I got stopped at the part where u clone ur peices and the 20 battle rifles show up... well the 20 br's dont show up idk why oh well...
