how to make an elite glow

1.Open any map in your prefered halo editor(i used dot halo).

2.Goto the bitmaps tag then goto objects\characters\elite\elite_honor_guard\bitmaps \elite_honor_armor_illum tag extract meta.

3.Then(in bitmaps)Find objects\characters\elite\bitmaps\arms_self_illum:o bjects\characters\elite\bitmaps\legs_self_illum: and last but not least objects\characters\elite\bitmaps\torso_illum.

4.Inject metas into those tags

oh and I was wonderin can u do this for mc...I didn't think u could because they don't have honor gaurd master cheifs(but that would still be cool)

Rusty,

You don't provide enogh information to get a valid reply. Did you make sure to save each tag after injecting the meta? That's the most likely oversight I can think of with the lack of information provide.

I dont know, it just like freezes my dot halo or says its not the right DXT thing but it is, so i dont know what to do.

Do u hav to hav the old maps on ur pc to get that elite, or is it inbedded in the map somwhere hinding in the corner jerkin off?

umm i was wondering how to get a sparten to have a flood look do u know how

extract flood bitmap from a campain map and inject the right dxt into the spartan skin
this is all done under a bitmap tag

This is something I have actually never done. But I can imagine a better way to do this
