How to use UberVisibleProjectileTool *pics*

Ok in this tut I'm going to show you how to use the program UVPT because it may be kind of confusing for beginners (I know it was for me).
UMP V3!!(Ultimate Modding Pack Version 3 - Here is the link for UMP v3 which has UVPT in it.

Before you start read this! - DO NOT hit resign like I tell you to for the 2 new maps (Desolation and Tombstone). This will corrupt the map and make it unusable!:o

1. Hit File > Open then choose your map.

2. After you open the map a list of all the weapons will appear. Double click on the weapon you want to have visible swaps for, but in this tut I'm using the magnum.


3.If you can double click without messing up you will get a message like this. Just press OK.

4. Now go over to the Trigger Editor tag.


5. In the first box hit the down arrow and select magnum. It should now look like this.

6. In the second box hit the down arrow and choose 0.


7. Now a bunch of numbers should have appeared in the boxes below like this.

8. Next you will want to go up to Tools > Fill in Info for... > pistols > magnum. Just like this.

9. Some of the numbers in the smaller boxes should have changed if you did that right.


10. Go back to Tools and hit Save trigger changes.

11. Now go over to the Ident Swapper Tag.

12. In the first box hit the down arrow and choose magnum. Now a bunch of stuff should have appeared in the boxes below.

13. Scroll down and on the left hand side it will say proj. Click on that and the whole row should be highlighted.

14. Below that at the very bottom in the box hit the down arrow and choose what ever projectile you want the magnum to shoot.

15. Simply hit Swap.


16. Next go up to Tools > Save Trigger Changes.


17. Once again go back to Tools, but now hit resign and you should get a message like this.

18. Congradulations you have now swapped the projectile for the magnum and everyone can see it!


*Note* You may also need to change some other things for the triggers using H2x which is also in UMP v3. And don't do this to the rocket launcher or plasma pistol for obvious reasons.

you will need to swap them in dothalo this just makes it visible to non modders over xbl

Ozzy it doesn't matter if you changed the projectile already or not because the program will change the projectile to a rocket anyway (or what ever the rocket launchers proj currently is).
btw sorry about the double post ^^^ (i thought a moderater didn't accept my post it wasn't showin up)

So would I do this BEFORE I change projectiles in dothalo? Becuase since it makes it rockets, I have to change them all again anyways.

Good news people I edited the tut because I realised you can use UVPT to change the projectile.

So now there is about 5 more EASY steps to change the projectile right in UberVIsibleProjectileTool!

(sorry about the wierd color change on the pics, I was at my friends house.)

i need help wit that software i swap th proj and the i go to dot alo and put on unli shots and then i go and make airlifts come up on dot halo and then i go and take the br scope off and the sniper screen off and then i go and take the death bar off for the new map and thn i sign it woth the cmr and put th old sign numbrs but when i go to oad the game it hits 0 and freezes can u help
