Butterknifing the Xbox with (some) Pictures.

How to Butterknife The Xbox:

Well, I see alot of people posting things on how to disk stop, I know there are different ways but people seem to liek the Butterknife Method. Well i comprised a tut made with pictures on how to do it.

Requirements:
1 - Xbox
2 - butterknife
3 - Halo 2 Disc



What You Do:
Step 1: Well insert the Halo 2 disc into your disc tray and load it up. (no pic needed, self explanatory.)

Step 2: Get your Butterknife and Xbox ready.


Step 3: When you are in a pregame lobby your stick the Butterknife into the disc tray right above the XBOX (the O in XBOX). And once in push up on the handle so the tip hits your disc. (You will hear a hissing sound, that means your doign it correctly.)


Step 3: Hold this till "Step 3: Configuring Game"

Step 4: When you let go this is what it will look like.




And For Proof That It Works:

How badly does this damage the disk or xbox?

doesnt damage the xbox

Can scratch the top of the disc depending on how many times you do it.
When you stop it your directly pressing the knife down on the top of the disc to slow it down.

it dusnt damage your xbox, after liek 50 times doign this the image on the top of the disc may come off and scratch.

It makes it so that you can't load old maps hence if your a new map modder you will only get new maps on matchaking making it almost perfect because you don't need old map mods if your new map modding. (USED IN MATCHMAKING)

ok Dudin if you dont believe the top is the data burn a disc with data on it scratch the top till shiny flakes come off then try playing the disc. Didn't work did it. the plastic bottom just protects where the laser reads if you scratch or crack that then it just refracts the laser and CAN make the disc explode. I know from experience. Now quit butterknifing your game and just play on xbc its cheaper and you can use mods.
