![]() | I dont know if this is where I should ask this. Im having problems with dothalo example. Rockets=Nuke When I try to change the damage effect distance I get There was an error while changing the value. It also happened when i tried to make the sniper rifle fully auto but i got that to work in h2x. What do i have to do to change things like that in dothalo. Thx for any info.

![]() | This is a tricky and very "craptacular" bug in DotHalo. DotHalo does NOT like you if you completely remove a value for a string. So instead of deleting everything before inputing a new value, just mark the previous value and start typing your new one, overwriting the old one, and never leaving the string empty. If this problem occurs however, don't try to keep going, that'll just further fu** up the map. Instead, when it happens, go back out into the "Tags" window and hit save changes. You will most likely get an error saying that you screwed something up, don't care, press continue and press save changes again. If you get the error again, you can't get out of it, so just press quit and re-open DotHalo and the map. Otherwise (and this is about a 50/50 gamble of success) you'll just get the usual "Changes saved to tag" or whatever, the tag will reload, and you can continue your work. Hope this helped

![]() | Thanks. But Im not very computer literit does marking the value mean to hightlight it then type in the new one. Bcause if it does it didnt work eather I can type numbers in no prob but when I try to put the E in (1E+1000000) I get the pop up error again. If i put in 999999999999999 and save it it will change to 1E+26 or something like that depends on how many 9s I put in. Then I can change the 6 to something else but I cant change the 2 or put another number in after the 6. Also after it changes to 1E+26 or 36 or whatever it still doesnt make any changes in the game. Yes I fixed encryption and resigned. Hope you can help figure this out I just started modding last weekend its like i have a brand new game. Thx Later!!!!!!

You can find a download for that .map file somewhere on the internet or off your own disc. Last edited by XxMoNkEy42xX; 08-26-2008 at 03:32 PM.
