(TUT)How to make a Uberchassis drivable

Programs Needed:

1.Entity 1.3

2.Dothalo

3.A Map Resigner

4.FTP Program

Things Needed:

1.A modded Xbox

2.A Halo 2 disc

3.03a_oldmombasa

How to get 03a_oldmombasa.

1.Turn on your modded xbox.

2.Put Halo 2 in your disc tray and load it in the dash.

3.FTP to your Xbox.

4.Go to D: drive maps and transfer over 03a_oldmombasa.

Now for the tut.

1.Open the SP(singleplayer) map in entity.

2.Scroll down to the HTML tag.


3.Now select objects\vehicles\civilian\uberchassis\uberchassis


4.Click on Recursive and Parsed.


5.Save it to your desktop or any other folder.

6.Close the SP map and open up your MP(multiplayer) map in entity.

7.Click on build on the bottom right hand corner and select the .info file you just saved.


8.When it is done it will say done. Select the WEAP tag.


9.Select any weapon that is out side the red box.


10.And duplicate that weapon that you chose.

11.When it is done duplicating it will say done.

12.Now go to the duplicated weapon.


13.Right Click anywhere in the Reflexives box and roll over display and click on idents.

14.Now at the top you should see object properties and HLMT select it and swap it from the weapon that you chose to objects\vehicles\civilian\uberchassis.


15.Now go to the VEHI tag.


16.Select the warthog.



17.Find the WEAP ident in the reflexives box and swap it from,

To this,


18.Now in the VEHI tag select the chain gun.

19.Select the HLMT and NULL it out.

20.Now go to the MODE tag.



21.Now select the warthogs mode.

22.And change everything accordingly to the picture.


23.Now select the uberchassis mode.

24.And change it accordingly to the picture.


25.Now click on TOOLS at the top right hand corner, select meta editor, in the meta box it should say tools at the top mid section and click on show and click on show all and hit ok.

26.Find the box that says bounding box.

27.change everything accordingly to the picture.


28.Now fix encryption resign map FTP and play.

NOTE: You might want to tweak the weap.
Once the warthog is blown up you can pick up the magnum and you will be holding the uberchassis in 3p.

cant u just change the hlmt of the warthog to the uberchassis-car-thing and null the turrets?

o i c. the wheels would b different, and no steering wheel ... right?

Yup Zachary that is correct thats why I had the tut say to make only certain things invisible on the warthog and the uberchassis.

Zieon I made it myself and it took 5 mins to think on how to do it 20 mins on making it 10 mins on tweaking it.

Serpant the main reason to leave the tires visible and the uberchassis tires invisible is so that the tires will move just like a real car.

then use a weapon u cant pick up (i.e. - the ghost gun ) and null the projectile
