How to make a Flaming Energy Sword

Programs you will need:

Ch2r (or other modding program)

NOTE: I did this for a friend, and can't remember which effe tags actually did it, but these two should do the trick.

1. Open up your map (I used Zanzibar) in Ch2r, or other full map program.

2. Navigate to the [effe] tags and find energy_blade\energy_blade_on

3. Open up the dependencies and there should be three [prt3] tags.

4. Change the first two to rocket_launcher\rocket_flame

5. Next, switch the 3rd [prt3] tag to rocket_launcher\rocket_exhaust_smoke

6. Close that and open up the energy_blade_aged effect

7. Swap the [prt3] tags to the following (from top to bottom)

rocket_launcher\rocket_flame
rocket_launcher\rocket_flame_core
rocket_launcher\rocket_exhaust_smoke
effects\generic\smoke\smoke_volumetric

8. Now change the first [pmov] to \warm_smoke_cloud

Resign, FTP and enjoy.

Okay, who did the original tut, I'll give him credit. I did this to my friends map, then put it on my xbox, but when I was trying to do something, the file got screwed up and I haven't redone it. as soon as I get it redone I'll take a picture and post it.
