![]() ![]() | How to inject a skin This is how you inject a skin (*.dds) You will need: Halo 2 Internalize Bitmap http://rapidshare.com/files/45798547/Halo2IB.rar (Password is se7enmasta@se7ensins.com) DotHalo RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting (Password is se7enmasta@se7ensins.com) Halo 2 Shared/Mainmenu/SPShared http://files.xboxsoftmods.org/index.php?act=category&id=11 **These three files need to be in the same folder as the map you are trying to inject the bitmap on Process: First open dothalo and open the map you want to put the skin in. Then go to the [bitm] tag in the "Tags" window and go to objects\vehicles\warthog\bitmaps\antenna From that there are like 20 more for the warthog - thy will all start with objects\vehicles\warthog When you downloaded your skin, there should be some *.dds files. Now look in dothalo under the "tags" window (where i just pointed you to) and click on the one that matches the file you downloaded. ex: I downloaded a skin and the folder contained a "tires.dds" and a "warthog_standard.dds". I would then click on objects\vehicles\warthog\bitmaps\tires and objects\vehicles\warthog\bitmaps\warthog_standard Now go to the window titled "Raw Data Editor" and you should see a picture of a bunch of pieces to a warthog. Now press "inject bitmap" and open the folder that contains the *.dds files and click on one. Do this for all of the *.dds files you have. *******Make sure you click on a different tag in the "tags" window for every file******* In order to see the bitmap changes, you have to internalize the bitmap. Open up Halo 2 Internalize Bitmap and open your map. Scroll down to the bitmaps you injected ex: objects\vehicles\warthog\bitmaps\tires Then scroll down to the 1 in the dropdown bar and make sure you click the non proper method. Click "Internalize Bitmap". If it asks you to load shared.map then load it. Then press ok and do the same for all the bitmaps you changed. And you are done - don't forget to resign P.S. - If the file you downloaded contains a *.ppf file or a *.sppf file, then just patch the files to the map using PPF-o-matic or SuperPPF Download Links: Super PPF - RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting PPF-o-matic - RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting Last edited by Gratealx; 07-31-2008 at 11:46 PM.
