| [TUT] Imageready (Halo 2 Tut) Adobe ImageReady Tutorial Written By someone Found By The Reepr This tutorial explains the process to making a slideshow for the pictures of your mod. Using Adobe ImageReady, you will be able to make an animated .gif file, that allows you to post pictures of your mod, but not take up too much space. *To access any of the hyperlinks that you see, hold Control and click the link. Programs that you’ll need: Image capture program for your Xbox (i.e. ATI All-in-Wonder 9600 XT) Adobe ImageReady The tutorial starts after you’ve already captured images, using your capture card, or other device/program. Step One: Select all of the images that you’ve just captured, and click and drag them to a new folder. Step Two: Click on File > Import > Folder as Frames… Step Three: This is what you should now see Step Four: Turn the visibility for all of your layers ON. (As seen in the highlighted area) Step Five: Link all of the layers, by selecting all of the boxes (As seen in the highlighted area) Step Six: Select the Move Tool, on the Toolbar. Step Seven: Click on the image ONCE, and then hit Ctrl+T (Transform). This will make a border around the image. In the bottom right corner of the image, click the little transparent box, and hold shift. Resize your image to meet the requirements of the forum or website you’re posting on. Step Eight: Click and hold on the Marquee Tool, on the Toolbar, and choose the Magic Wand Tool Step Nine: Select the transparent area with the Magic Wand Tool. Step Ten: Click on Select > Inverse (Ctrl+Shift+I) Step Eleven: Click on Image > Crop, to crop you’re image Step Twelve: Now deselect all of the linked buttons, and layer visibility buttons, except for the first layer. Step Thirteen: On your Animation bar, Choose the second frame, and on your Layer Window choose the second layer. By repeating this over and over for each frame, it makes the desired frame play the desired layer. Step Fourteen: Change the length of each frame by clicking on 0 sec. text, this will make a drop down menu, and then choose your desired amount of time. Step Fifteen: Click on the play button, on the frames window, to preview your animated picture. Step Sixteen: Click Save Optimized As..., to save your animated .gif. Step Seventeen: Save your file to the directory that you wish. Congratulations, you’re finished. Here is what your animated .gif picture should look like. Animated Gif Final.
