Changing Halo 2 Weapon Sounds
Before we start the tutorial we are going to need to get a few things.
1. A Halo 2 .map file (im going to be using MidShip.map)
2. Ch2R (Get it
here)
Now we can start the tutorial.
1. Open your halo 2 map in CH2R.
2. Now go to sound/weapons/then just click the folder for magnum.
3. Now right click one magnum_fire.snd and select swap.
4.This is the part where you get to choose the sound just click the dropdown bar and pick whatever you want(I’m going to be choosing sound/weapons/gauss_rifle/fire.snd).Once you pick what you want hit swap again.
5. Now close that box.
6. Now highlight your map again and click resign once it finishes click close map then close that window and you are done.
7. Now resign your map with a map resigner and ftp it to your Xbox and enjoy your magnum that sounds like a gauss cannon.
