Adding Warthog Neons *Pics Included*

This TUT was written COMPLETELY by me (I XpLiCiTMoDz I)


.::Things You Will Need::.

Entity
Dothalo
ADI
A map resigner
FTP Program.


.:tep One::.

First Open up Your map in Entity, And go to the [ligh] light tag, Then scroll and find effects\objects\vehicles\ghost\ghost_plasma_vent and duplicate it. As shown below




.:tep Two::.

Open up Dothalo, Go to the [vehi] Vehicle tag and find your warthog.Go to the Dependencies/Reflexives window and click on \objects\vehicles\warthog\attatchments\warthog_hea dlights And change it to \effects\objects\vehicles\ghost\ghost_plasma_vent( 1)
And hit "Save changes"




.:tep Three::.

Now still on your warthog, Click on the "Tag Editor" Tab and change both of the headlights boxes to "Always on"
Now Hit Save Changes on the "Tags" Window.
Now your finished with dothalo




.:tep Four::.

Open up ADI, Now go to the [ligh] Light Tag, And find \effects\objects\vehicles\ghost\ghost_plasma_vent( 1)

Now click on the tag editor button on the bottom right

Change both of the "Radian Values" to 0.05.

Now for the color of your neons.

Red Neons- Change all of the red values to 1 and the green and blue to 0
Green Neons- Change all green values to 1 and red and blue to 0
Blue Neons- Change all blue values to 1 and red and green to 0

Now close ADI.




.:tep Five::.

Open up Entity, Go to the [mode] Model Tag and find \objects\vehicles\warthog\warthog

Now click on tools and then meta editor



Then Scroll down until you see "Marker"
And change the first dropdown box to 9

Now enter the Coordinates as shown in the picture.



Hit save at the top

Resign

FTP

And enjoy your new warthog neons.

Well if thats what your talking about then no i don't have a mac. I have a dell. Its just an xbox 360 theme.

Xplicit, you should change the last value in your tut, the z axis, ie how high from the ground the light is, to 0.1428424. it puts the light inside of the warthog, which makes for better underglow, bc there is no light source from the outside, it is all just there. just a tip for you.

Well i wrote one using entity because insolence really f*cks up your map. It adds the meta to the end of the map.

Whenever I do the last step in entity with the markers, it comes up with an exception error and makes me close entity...

soon as I click on "meta editor" in the tools box it comes up and says something like "value must be non negative" and then i cant click anything else in entity or i get the same message. i did everything else just like the tut said.

Then i dont know what you did wrong. But it works everytime for me. So i don't know. Im not good with fixing errors and stuff because i never get them.

lol, I used that 360 theme. It's a pain in the *** to get rid of though. Nice Tut BTW

could i put in orange lights with red 4, green 2, blue 1?

The only colors i know how to do is Red,Yellow,Green,Blue, And purple. But if you mess around with the colors im sure you could get orange.

i got an orange once, and i got a lime green, baby blue, white, off whitish purple, magenta, and black...don't ask idk how i got black but i did lol
