HOW TO ADD PICS ON A MAP AND SAVE AS .DDS

open dothalo and extract what u want to have a pic on, im doing the halo ring, open in photoshop and then save as BMP. open paint and find the file and open it. click the dotted rectangle and right click the image and click paste from, find the image u want in the ring and open it. drag the image where u want it and save as. open in PS then open it and then save as .dds! UR DONE just inject back into dothalo!!! btw thats my weird cousin that i touched up in PS pretty damn good job too! he has no piercings what so ever in real life and does not wear makeup.

i do it in paint.
1. cuz i have a crappy comp.
2. i cant download adobe becuase i have a crappy comp.

u need to open photoshop cause paint cant read .dds files, thats why u have to open in PS then save it as a bitmap file to be able to open it in paint, u cant put the image u want on the ring in PS cause that would create a layer which would not allow u to save it as a .dds file. sorry the tut was HORRIBLE i was in a freaking hurry and next time dont get pissed at me just cause i posted a tut on something that noobs dont know how to do! its supposed to be HELPFUL

Wow adding pics to a map is the same as skinning it there doesn't need to be 2 different tuts.

well u have to do it 2 different ways as in both of my tuts one for what to do in PS when skinning and what to do when adding pics cause when adding pics PS is not the only program used. ur right though that they are both skinning
