my disk stops running after i paperclip hotswap.i waited about 45 mins. it didnt work. any ideas and i cant start a thread

It's fine to post problems here.

If it stops running after the paperclip hotswap you might have done it too slow and your drive might have timed out, or you may have made the disc wrong..Your better off opening your xbox and seeing what drive you have, then if it's compatible with hotswapping take the top off the drive, and hotswap.

Hi, again, i followed your tutorial EXACTLY, i made the .dvd file, i made the security sector and crap, i got the layer break, and i added the IMAGE000.iso thingy underneath it, and the ss patcher still isn't workjing like WTF? im posting images of what error(s) i have

Did you edit the layer break in notepad?

well i have opened my xbox and i have a samsung ver. A drive. and i heard its easier in most cases with my drive to use the paperclip trick

Is it okay to use a different software such as Nero to burn the iso?

As long as it gives the option to write to the end of the disc.

i didn't know i had to edit the layer break, i just deleted everything before the layer break, then i added the IMAGE000.iso undernreath it.

When I open the IMAGE002 file with notepad, there is no LayerBreak=# there. Why is this? Could it be that the disk I am using has no layerbreak?

Also, when I go to write from file in clone cd, it doesn't let me. It says that the image on the disk (movie) cannot be erased.

Please help.

Means you made the layer break wrong. Try and remake it with a different movie.

I don't understand what your saying..Are you trying to burn it to a DVD that's not blank?

LOL, you can't write the halo 2 iso onto a disk with a movie on it, you need a blank disk.

i think i know how, im FTP'ing raw dump files now.. so i just need to start from "injecting halo 2 modde maps" part x)
