How to Mod Old Maps On A DVD-R (By XxMoNkEy42xX)

scuse me, but for sum reason i got all the way to the part clone cd part and it wud not leme run the cd for sum reason, have any idea wuzup with that at all? and now that i closed all that stuff do i have to restart from beginin?

lol, leme try, i downloaded the clone cd part from the directed web site and once i got to the step in the tutorial where it came time to use it, it opened up fine, but for sum reason i cudnt do the read dvd part and i foloed the hole tutorial step-by-step

hey, thanks for the guide rlly nice! but i was wondering a few things.
1.when i inject the maps do they have to be...
a.the same size as lets say im replacing lockout, does it have to be the same size as lockout?
b.can i just add a new map in or do i have to replace lets say lockout with lets say the completely different map i want called Tempo?
c.ive seen on other modding stuff for the computer to xbox modding method where they can change weapons and add like auto aim and dual weild swords can i do that with hotswap disks?
d.sorry for so many questions but ive been wondering these forever lol.
e.do i have to inject every single map for it to work or lets say im only modding one map like the Tempo one will it still work?
if you could answer me pretty soon i would love you! lol thanks

if your planning on modding online, then the map size would have to be the same as the original. as for modding by yourself, it would work any way.

ok cool thanks im just planning on doing this on systemlink with my friends or just split screen, and im using this map called Tempo, could i just inject it with a random one, and then call it godo or would i have to do something with the other maps?

i meen like when it says inject all of the maps with your modded ones i meen can i just put the map Tempo with lockout, like inject tempo when im injecting Lockout, get what i meen or am i being a nub? lol sorry im new to this, and i just saw a map pack download on this site, it has a bunch of new maps, so it says, and i think it says i can just download it and burn it but im not too sure, because starting out with modding i might wanna try the disk then this, anyway u could look at it for me? What map is tempo? Or what map does it patch to? If it's bigger than the normal map I'm pretty sure you can't inject it right.

oh, and it doesnt come with a .dvd so it wont work with clone CD, so would i have to make a proper .dvd file or just use a different iso burner?

wow ok now im pissed off when i try hot swapping with the disk then the light blinks like i pushed the button and i get the x-box microsoft screen!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhh lol ok so now what do u recomend?

lol yeah it's kinda annoying. i went to my friends house and he has 2 x-boxes and on one the paper clip just goes in and like hits hard plastic and on the other one it does the blinking thing again...lol what do i do this is dumb.

ok well i got one of my friends xbox to work right and ok i burnt the disk from the link above i didnt do anything different on it i just downloaded it and burnt it to a Memorex 4.7gb DVD-R and im at the split screen thing and i load a map then i hotswap wait about 30 seconds then change map but nothing happens, and like all the maps r supposed to be modded lol. so IDK can someone download it and then try to get it to work and see what im doing wrong.

my image000.iso only was like 4.82 GB is that right

edit ok i made disk but was only able to play 1 map and others failed but when i redid it couldnt play any of the old maps any ideas what happened

is there an easier way to hotswap i think i almost blew ujp
