Before we start what you need is.
1.Modded Xbox with Halo 2 on the harddrive
2.Some kind of hex editor.(Get one
Here)
3.Dothalo(Get it
Here)
4.MainMenu.map
5.A map you want to add to the MainMenu.map file.(im going to be adding Terminal with the NewYork Mod on it.)
Now once you have all of this stuff we can start the tutorial.
1.Open DotHalo and open the MainMenu.map.
2.Now go to the Tag window and click Matg(Globals) and click globals/globals and a window like this should come up.
3.Now click on the drop down bar in the tag editor and select 12 which would be the first open slot.
4.Now see all the slots input this into them leave the scenario tag alone for now.(replace it with what you want it to say but leave values alone)
5.Now minmize dothalo for the moment and open the map you want to add to the mainmenu in the hex editor.
6.Now go to search/find and type in scenarios or hex 444 either one will work.
7.Now you should see scenarios\multi\mapname\mapname take that and copy and paste it into dothalo where you saw the scenarios space earlier.
8.Now make sure everything is correct and click save changes on tag editor.
9.Now click fix encryption for mainmenu.map then click close.
10.Now just fix the encryption for the map that you where adding to mainmenu.map and ftp both of them to the right folder preferably E:/games/halo 2/maps for me.
11.Now run halo 2 and enjoy your new modded map that was added to your mainmenu.
