| Easy Way To Make Your Own Racetrack Ok this is easy to setup

| woah wait, sorrow, r you saying that racetracks are made by having rocket launchers shoot out parts of the tracks and you make them fit cause that is totaly wrong.(correct me if this was not your purpose sorrow). Because the ramps dont come out level in the guns and may have to be tilted which is what Entity BSP viewer is for and as Zone says Dothalo=Epic Failure | ||||||

| Nice one... | Quote: No... That's not what it does... All this does is spawns the BASEGATE via: Rocket Launcher which gives you the "checkpoints" for where you need to drive through... This doesn't spawn any platforms or anything like that to drive on... It's really just a simple way to allow you to walk around on the map and go "hey, I think a checkpoint should go right here"... Zone prefers to use Entity, nothing is wrong with using Dothalo, it's just that Entity takes the place of several other programs by giving you more options... I mix it up and use different programs based on what I'm doing... Find your own preference... (and no I'm not flaming Zone)^_^ | ||||||

Plus, BSP Viewer =) ok... seriously, bungie wouldn't use Entitiy to MODD a map in the first place... They'd build a new one from the ground up, so don't compare anything we do here while MODDING to something bungie does for a living... All I was saying is that it's not illegal to use Dothalo, nor will you die if you use it... It's a MODDING program, so who really cares if it doesn't do it like it "should", in all seriousness, there are a LOT of people who think we shouldn't be able to do this in the first place... So lay off of Dothalo, at one point it was considered to be one of the best editing programs out there, just as entity is now (and eventually something else will)... Besides, if you know Entity Oh-So well, then you know how to convert this tut from dothalo to entity (anybody with basic Entity knowlegde does), so where's the problem??? Now, back on topic... First of all, this thread is a year old... Second, we all know it's not the right way to make a racetrack, it wasn't intended to be... Third, don't knock it 'till you try it (everything's worth a shot)... | ||||||
