How to mod old maps ** with pics ** By KMX

K this is fairly easy
First off create a folder on ur pc called HALO2

Now inside that folder go on flashFxp with ur halo 2 disc in the drive and go to folder "D"

Now inside folder d u should see MAPS media bink and xbe files..

Now inside of teh HALO2 folder u made make a new folder inside named "MAPS" and put the following in...

Now transfer the .xbe files to the halo2 folder *not inside the maps folder*

Now ur almost done just transfer it to the *E* folder on ur hd

Now go to games

Now transfer HALO2 to the games folder

this is wut ive been told u jus go to play games from hard drive when your in the modded dash borad and that should work but be warned if u go online your xbox will be banned not jus ur account from macthmaking

your eeprom gets banned, then you gotta buy a new one if you wanna play. xbox-scene has them I think..

I followed the directions exactly, but when I tried loading it, it said I had a damaged or dirty disc. How can I fix this?

this is just to put halo 2 on your hard drive and you cant get on xbox live.

Yea, you can mod old maps on XBox Live, but not by loading it from your hard drive, check out this video of me modding the old maps in matchmaking

not with THIS tut
cause you need the raw dump you and you inject the maps into the iso

ok well thats all fine and dandy, but you didn't mention that halo 2 dosen't fit on the xbox hard drive. Is there anything you can do besides getting a bigger HDD? I deleted the bink and the singleplayer maps. But I still cant fit it on.

theres hundreds of tuts on "halo 2" and I already removed the biggest non important files and still no luck. This just frustrates me cause every tut says, First copy halo 2 to your HDD. Well what are ya supposed to do if theres no room?

r u kidding? all i deleted to get H2 on my HDD was the credits.bik, all of the singleplayer maps, and the singleplayershared.map and it worked fine.
