play a game WITHOUT A CD!!!
plz tell me wht u think of this tut
1) Ok first thing you need to do is download these 2 programs (free)
Clone CD:
http://static.slysoft.com/SetupCloneCD.exe
and
Virtual Clone Drive:
http://static.slysoft.com/]SetupVirtualCloneDrive.exe
2) Open up the files and install them
3) Go to where u installed ur halo (C:\programfiles\microsoft games\halo) and make a new folder called "haloimg"
4) Pop in ur halo cd into ur drive and open "clone cd".click the button with the glasses on it.
5) click the button that says "SCSI DVD-ROM" and click "next".
6) This next step is important, make shure u choose the "Game CD" button and click "next".
7) This next step is also VERY important click the "browse..." button.
8) Go into ur "haloimg" folder and click on the file in there. re-name the file as halo and then click "save".
9) Then click "ok".
10) Click ok and wait till it finishes then u can close clone cd and pop out ur halo cd.
11) Right click and go "new shortcut".
12) Browse to ur "haloimg" folderand click on halo.CCD and click "ok".
13) Click next.
14) Rename it from "halo.ccd" to "halo" and click "finish".
15) Right click on the shortcut u just made and go to "properties" and go "change icon".
16) Browse to ur halo folder
17) Click on "halo.exe" Click "Ok"
18) Then click on the top picture and then click "Ok"
19) The last thing u have to do is just double click it and UR GAME WILL PLAY WITHOUT THE CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. you can do this with ANY game and u will still have all of ur servers
