This is a tutorial on how to skin anything for Halo PC.

BEFORE YOU START: Create a folder called "Skins" in that folder, make 3 sub-folders called; Back-ups, Windows Bitmap, and Modded Skin.

Programs:
DXTBmp (link below)----------------------------------------------------http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Graphic/GraphicEditors/DXTBmp.shtml
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
HMT V3.5 (don't need plug-ins|||You should have this...)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Photoshop (CS3,CS2, or CS4 is fine|||I don't give out torrents)
Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1: Open up HMT V3.5 and open a map (i am using bloodgulch)

Step 2: Open up the Bitmap Branch (5th Branch)

Step 3: Find your desired Bitmap you want to skin/edit

Step 4: Over to the left, you should see a "Save Texture" Button. Click it, and save it to.....SKINS>BACK-UPS

Step 5: Open up DXTBmp, and open up the Bitmap you just saved from HMT

Step 6: Once it's open, save it as a 24-Bit BMP Image, in......SKINS>WINDOWS BITMAP

Step 7: Open Photoshop, and open up the file you just saved in your Windows Bitmap folder.

Step 8: Mess around with the picture, until you are satisfied When you are done modifying it, save it.

Step 9: Go back to DXTBmp, and open up that file AGAIN

Step 10: Once it's opened, save it as a DDS TEXTURE, into......SKINS>MODDED SKINS

Step 11: In HMT, Click "Inject Texture" right below "Save Texture", and open up the DDS Texture, inside the Modded Skins folder.

Step 12: In the Tag Editor box, click update (same box), Then click Save in the Tag Information Box.
