i downloaded halo mac and i put in a cd key and it was invalid how do i change the key to a different one to make it valid

Maybe uninstall it and reinstall?

i deleted and installed it again and it still wont let me put in a valid cd key

You probably have to delete some registry files. Not sure which ones specifically though...

i deleted every thing except the game the maps and the shaders
