How do i mod halo 1 xbox?

How do i mod halo 1 xbox, this is what ive done/know.
1. All the maps are compressed
2. I have halo 1 backed up and on my xbox and computer
3. i have all the apps, such as HMT, HHT and dot halo. i used to mod halo trial
so i was about to mod. and i opened a map. it said it was compressed. so i de commpressed ALL the maps with dot halo. so i modded a map, compressed it. put it on my xbox and no mods workd. so how do i put a modded Halo 1 map on my xbox? thank you for youre time.

you can mod halo 1 on xbox with DotHalo the same you mod halo 2.

Just amke sure you compress the map when you're done.

so like in halo 2 you fix the encypiction, but in halo 1 you just compress it?

well, i modded and in dothalo it gives me a error saying it overflowed or something :shootme: so i modded it with hmt and compressed it with dothalo. put it on xbox, nothing. so wtf
