What is the best way to mod the halo that i bought at the store???

please help i bought halo at the store and i want to mod it i have done everything but i do not no which method is best. if you know can you leave a tutorial here for it. thank you guys

what is the diference? i have the one taht i bought and sayd halo combat evolved but it is on the pc...

Well then you got Halo PC woot :p

Ok first install halo pc and try playing multi so it makes you get the update.

halo pc and halo combat evolved are the same things.....

Exept ones for the xbox so other steps are invovled, that's why i'm asking.

well....why did you ask if he had either halo or combat evolved? They're the same.

Should have asked if he had Halo 2 OR halo combat evolved.

K well assuming you've got Halo PC, and it's installed/you got hte 1.07 update then use This and install all the programs and the .dds plugin. Once your done that follow some of the tuts on how to do things, and then experiment doing stuff.

Yeah, I think I submitted a tutorial. I forgot what I wrote at the time b/c that was about 3 years ago when I wrote it. If I remember correctly, I show how to multiply weapons, move weapons, and make teleporters.

But yeah...HMT is a great program...I suggest just messing around in that to see what changes what...b/c you can get some fun results from that.

I think I'm going to start messing around with that **** again soon

I hate H2 and having to ftp the maps over....I'm just too lazy

just put it on you're HD for xbox and intsall it on you're Pc for Pc. but if you're going to mod halo 1 Xbox, just don't copy the game demos. and for method's i use HMT and HHT and DotHalo, and a Halo 2 modding program called Entity, get the lastest verison it, supports Halo 1. I hope this helps
