Oh but wait, do you remember which files you modded So i could copy over those also, the ones that dont have to correspond with default.dat. I mean the files you modded that didnt have to be renamed to match the default.dat

-it appears to me that im unable to mod the car colors back to normal
because everything in the carcols.dat appears exactly the same as the origional
so i dont know what file im soposed to mod it only asks for carcol.dat.

-how do i change settings GLOBALY for cars physics to make them all the same, i read it was possible with ivneedle to make 1 setting to affect all

You need the pc exe to use open iv to view, extract and inject files into the common.rpf. Then you extract the files you want to mod and open them with iv needle, some files to mod are:

-weaponinfo.xml
-handling.dat
-cargrp.dat
-ect....

then bypassing the patch comes into play, i suggest you just use the default.dat in my common.rpf

i cant explain every little thing i would be here all day doing that, so i hope that helps

easssy using a fresh unmodded will give you the water in before you even start. god mode is all done through the bullet damage on the wepons files. i spent a long time getting the boats right (before the patch works now!) and i have not seen any one else with better tuned boats if you want me to send you some good cops and crooks commons then just message either of my tags on live your e-mail address and i will e-mail you something good i am on from 6pm uk time tonight if you want to play

so the only remaining problem is how to get the cars flying again so come on people is any one else working on it that wants to team up i have a few ideas that might work

-my xbox freezes for singleplayer when driving fast. I heard if i remove the language
files from the text folder it will fix this. will this work or mess things up worse?

Sorry no, im not. Ive seen you on gta before though. you where riding inthe same car as me, and you where shooting rockets out of your smg from vehicle. Something i had never even heard about, the funny thing too was i thought i was going crazy thinking it was a glitch until gradually i would start to hear about more and more things about it. Man i thought i was cool because I knew about zone alrm lol. this modding games thing was a myth to me I needed to be able to play like that with friends in a partymatch.

In a way it was you who inspired me to embark on the journey to becoming a gta god for myself.

I'ma go buy a fresh lot of DL DVD+R Disks and I'll be sure to use your common file, with a little touch by me. (I like to change one of the guns to spawn a broken fire hydrant that sprays water into there air. There's no fire hydrant though, it's just the water that sprays up in the air. It's awesome to annoy people with. =D)
It's a shame flying cars don't work, as I've read you say in an earlier post, as that was one of the most funnest things to do with my friends. Flying around in a bus, ahh, those were the days. (;

I tried to test this common but my game freezes every time right after I click play game.. it loads fine but freezes everything..

any idea what is it ? or is there a torrent where I can download a fresh one..

does it freeze right after spawning in singleplayer? that happened to me too, i either have to click multiplayer really fast, or get a game invite as the game is loading to bypass SP altogether.

no actually it's when I burned it to a disc (verbatim 2.4x) and I load it into the console, it reads the disc and says play game like every other, but after I click on that, everything freezes on the loading intro screen.

is it console maybe having trouble or did someone experience same thing with this ?
