ya but it disables certain achievements....it'll tell you when you enter the cheat what acheivement it disabled.JUST DONT SAVE

It disables some achievements, mainly the side mission type ones such as: capturing 20 criminals using the database, survive 5 minutes on a six star wanted level, walk away from a four star wanted level, etc... It will tell you when you enter them in which it disables but you can just go on without saving then start it at the last save. It lists them in the cheat list at this link. GTA IV Cheat Codes and Secerts! However when you spawn the helicopter it removes an achievement too but I forgot which one.

IS it because it's not possible, or because people just havent got any yet?
Oh, and if I use a cheat to help myself get an achievment (assuming it doesnt dissable it) then I get it, turn off the xbox or load game, it will undo the cheat but I will still have the acheivement right?

Yes, if you get the achievement and then restart where you saved before you turned on the cheat it will give you the achievement and deactivate the cheat. Honestly the best cheat (health one) you just need to arrest 20 criminals which is simple. The car cheats don't deactivate anything.
