How to get Host in Ranked

I had no clue where to put this so...

Make sure you can bridge your connections(Cain,ICS,etc.)
*Refer to krafty's cain and abel tut*
[OLD] Router Bridging - Cain & Abel v4 + Zone Alarm Pro ::.
Add the IP range of
65.59.234.0-65.59.234.255
and
65.55.42.0-65.55.42.255
To your trusted
Got that? Good.
Now turn your firewall on High and go to your phone>Multiplayer>Ranked>*What ever you want to play*
Now. Go and search. YOU WILL GET HOST.
I have not tried standbying nor will I do it.

Also I will try to get pics one day.

i only get host for the option changing thing. i tried standbying and there is no difference so i thought forget it.

If you can change the game options in ranked. Your connection host as well.

I have everything set up according the instructions but I can't get host or lag out any people. I've tried different settings regaurding Zone Alarm and still nothing. I'm using windows vista and have tried both ICS and just bridging. Any help is appreciated.

I have successfully bridged with another guy, but I cannot get into the same "gta race", "dealbreaker" or "bomb da base II". all other modes work perfecty...

If its possible in Hangman's NOOSE then its possible in dealbreaker and BDBII.
idk about GTA Race. I would have tested this all with friends...But none of my friends have GTA4 that can bridge:laughing:

hangman's noose works aswell no problems... any ideas? i used commview to see if maybe there was a different Ip associated with these ones - but I can't see anything... if you've got a solution id be much obliged.

The range I put on my post is the two that XBL uses. I thought at 1st one of them was only used by H3 but found that its for all playlists on any xbl game. If I find anything out. I'll edit my post.

the fact that all work spare those 3 is kind of odd though. considering the similarities between db, bdb and hmn and between race and gtarace... sucks. thanks for any/all effort

I had to input another IP for this to work.

Also add the IP 207.38.10.223 to your trusted. That IP kept coming up in my Commview everytime along with Microsoft and an IP from the range.

After I put that IP in, I could connect fine to people.

Also, once you get host in a game, put your bars to Medium or Low because people cannot get in while you are on High. You were just putting it on High so that you would block out other people making you the host.
