FYI Reguarding Host Bans

This is a discussion about FYI Reguarding Host Bans within the GoW2 Bridging section, where you will Learn how to bridge in Gears of War 2 (GoW2) with our easy to follow tutorials.; For all you bridgers, if you bridge host, then you disconnect from the game, that will host bans you also. Just found that out. not sure if it bans you if you host on Horde

FYI Reguarding Host Bans

For all you bridgers, if you bridge host, then you disconnect from the game, that will host bans you also.
Just found that out.

not sure if it bans you if you host on Horde then quit, I woun't think so.

Not really, only for one game and only because you left, if you were to be host without bridging and you left, it would be the same, you won't be host the next game just so you make up for the negative points =]!

Oh really so its not a host ban?
Just tested being host after quitting a hosted horde, was able to solo bridge.
I just count get host last night with a full party after I quit a match as host

Same thing happened to me and a friend (when i was host i didn,t quit i just connection to xboxlive) then i was host band for 24 hours.
My friend did get host and pulled his cable and was also host band for 24 hours.

So yeah u quit the game or lose connection from live after u have bridged u will get host band for a day.

Actually, this is true, I found this out a while ago but thought everyone knew already. When you quit it doesn't disconnect you immediately, there is a delay of a couple seconds so no one is getting any connection to you for that little time. So the game thinks you lagswitched it which = host ban

I just found this out, quitting as non host also bans you, heh
