Host Banned?

Hey guys, i am using the program called Host Of War which was doing the job perfectly last night, i turned my xbox of and in the morning i was host banned, any ideas why? i have a 10mb connection, the xbox is connected to a router via an ethernet cable, laptop is wirelessly connected and i have a belkin router.

When i try the update method the game crases and says disk unreadable even thought i have installed the disc to the hardrive? anyway, is there something i am doing wrong?

try test connection than restart gow2 start 1 private xbox live match than end it and try searching againn works for me

Yo yo yo, i tried that before posting but it didnt work, thanks for the reply though

That happened to me (with host of war program) and got host band.
I think its dew to using it over and over and they tend to notice u get host all the time ( i did it 25 times in a row lmao).
But no need to worry it only host bands u for 24 hours i been getting host all day again today using host of war

ok it never a permanent host ban it always temp so dont worry =D

Yep, if you get host too many times in a row you get host banned. I usually do 5-8 times then let a game go and then 5-8 again. Also it could be if you shut down your 360 in the middle of the game it thought you were lagswitching.

This is not ture, the program you are using is making you get banned.

Hey guys,
are you sure they dont perm ban because i changed my mac address on my router which changed my ip but i'm still not becoming host, any ideas

If you are getting 0 xp as maatch bonus at the end of each game then you are host banned.
If you get a match bonus than you are messing up some how.

Reset your rank, ti will do away. Do a search on forums and you'll find a tut somewhere.

Thanks, i tried to do the updat again but the gain says disc unreadable even though the game can install to the hardrive and was playing fine on it yesterday, reset my rank, will this reset my rank in the leaderboard aswell? anyway thanks for the reply.

I use zap, no just dont turn it on high during game.
Aklthough i lag switch anways when people are being idiots cuz you can just reset rank to get unbanned.

If using mod, disc it wount work anymore since TU5.
I have been tryign different approcaches for a day now and nothign so until another exploits comes open, I'll prolly be on another game.

Umm no I'm stupid enough to turn it on high in the middle of the game, please think before you reply. I've been bridging for a while and answering questions here for a while and I'm not gonna be stupid enough to set it on high in a game, because I know I'll get host banned. Also when I don't keep bridging for a lot of games in a row then I don't get host banned.

Has nothing to do with that. I host around 100 matches a day. I only got banned twice. Once, because my connection was too bad the server thought I was lag switching. The second time I quit when I was host. Anyone know how long the latter takes to be unbanned?

once i get banned, i just play a few games without bridging then i can bridge host again
