If caught, yes. It is still network manipulation. Odds of being caught bridging, 1 in millions. If you're playing with just one person and that person is host every game, it looks fishy.

so playing with randoms in wingman is a bad idea while bridging

Nobody can really know if your bridging because its just like a random getting host. People won't know that you get host all the time because you don't play with the same people every game to know that you always get host. Most of the top players on the leaderboards (before hackers) bridged host and even some people knew it and nothing happened to them. You wont get in trouble unless you standby during a game which is only a host ban which is not a big deal.

Bridging is fine, EPIC don't bother too much about it.
Standby is not, you will get a host ban.

IMO. - Standby is dumb because you cannot because host the next game.

no bridging is 100% safe.

if you get host banned, clear your cache, load up gears, dont update. go into multiplayer, connect to live, then update, and your not host banned anymore. this does reset your rank, but who cares what rank you are, everyone cheated to get there rank except for the few that dont have rank 100 achievement or jsut got thr 50 lol. u can always hex it back to what ever you want.

I'm new here, i tried to do what you said to do but when i delete the updates load up gears it says disk unreadable, but when i update i no longer get that message, the disk is installed to the hardrive aswell and it still says that

Never knew that. I thought you would get host banned if your connection is bad or if your standbying or anything like that. No wonder why I wouldn't be getting host at times, since i'm getting it too many times in a row.
