Yes, this method of bridging described here does in fact work. If anyone would like to play tonight, add my gamertag of: BRA1NFR33ZE and we can do all sorts of fun things

It's binary for this post has been removed by the user

This works with the free version of Zone Alarm because you don't have to go into expert mode. Also it doesn't matter if you're wireless or not.

Okay please explain to me why this doesn't work on wireless. While you're at it, what's the difference between the two tutorials?

no point in putting "This post has been removed by the user" in binary

Anyone who is trying this and something seems to be wrong, it seems he forgot one crucial step in his tut. You need to add an IP Range for your trusted zone, with the following IP's: 206.13.213.20 - 206.13.213.255. Add these in your zone alarm pro, and I guarantee you that you will see the results you want

I didn't remove it, thanks for putting it back up. My friend did it when he came over, anyways. The gears of war 2 has 3 different IP's.
206.13.213.20
206.13.213.21
206.13.213.29

So if you just did what Brainfreeze said then you should be fine, and Brainfreeze thanks for confirming that it works, other than me.

EDIT: Can you put my other tutorial "Standby Crabwalk" up because he deleted it too I think.

Re: Bridge yourself host 100% working

Actually, just using commview and the program smartwhois with it, I have learned that microsoft and xbox live have 3 IP ranges, and they are the following: 206.16.0.0 - 206.19.255.255. The 2nd range is the following: 206-16-213.16 - 206.16.213.31. The 3rd and final I saw was: 65.52.0.0 - 65.55.255.255. Feel free to try them out in your zone alarm, as well as the other IP addresses listed in the tut. Give me any feedback on how they work out for ya

Wait, so this now works wirelessly? And does having a static IP on your PC and xbox a problem?
