Side effects of the Seriously and Annex glitches?

I was just wondering about side effects of using the Seriously and Annex glitches?

After looking around it would seem the game will think you have 30 Cog Tags, so you should get them for the achievements before you attempt the glitches, but are there any others things I should know?

Someone on gearsofwarforum.net claimed that the little icons that appear on screen for picking up a weapon, or jumping over a barricade for example disappear. Can anyone confirm this?

Not really sure. I've only heard of the COG tag issue.

i can honestly say that guy is on crack lol no the only side effect is the COG tags thats why you just get them before doing the glitch
