Unlocking Insane

I just exchanged my 360 for the elite. I was starting Hard Act 5 when I did the swap. Will my achievements unlock everything below Hard Act 5 or will I have to start all over again? If not, is there a way to copy a saved game so I don't have to replay the whole game?

I'm pretty sure the GOW campaign is stackable so it should unlock everything below it.

But would insane be unlocked if I have the achievements? If so, I will just start on insane.

You will know if it's unlocked just go to change difficulty and see.

What does changing your xbox having to do with losing your saves or achievements?

as long as you did swap your hd as well your fine but if you did you will have to start over campaign but since the achievements are unlocked on the gamer tag you could start from insane

got the new 120 gb hard drive with it and had to turn in the old one and didn't get a chance to copy the profiles. It cost me a $100 to upgrade to elite with a new 2 year replacement plan from best buy.

I should still have the achievements.

yes you will still have the acheivments just not the saves just recover you gt and check they will be there

thanks. Achievements were never a question. I was more or less wondering if the achievements will unlock insane or if I would have to re-play the entire campaign.

Or is it possible to get someone elses game save to USB to transfer to new hard drive?

I am trying to ask if all the achievements I got from beating the game on casual will unlock the insane mode. I have all casual achievements and hardcore achievements up to Act 5. I am sure the game saves are on my old hard drive. When I went to best buy, I had to turn in my old hard drive in with my xbox. So I have a brand NEW hard drive. I am wondering if I will need to start all over or if I can start on ACT 5 since the achievements for completing Act 4 are unlocked.

I am currently at work, so I just curious to know what my evening is in store for when I get home.
