How to clean up a level with a mortar

Yet welcome to another tutorial by xdrugs . I thought I'd just share a quickie with you guys so you are able to obtain the maximum amount of fun from private parties . Here I will be explaining how to basically in my belief , blowing up the entire map , when I mean blowing up ... I mean literally shoot some mortars in the air and watch as everything gets annihilated into bits and pieces . This is both fun for playing alone or in private parties .. I would suggest using this in horde because you can easily rack up a enormous amount of kills or if you plan to play in private it's also fun going against each other .

Things needed for this tutorial :

- A hex editor ( I'm using FlexHex )
- Coalesced_int
- Patience ( It's a virtue )

Let's begin . Open up Coalesced_int in your HexEditor , do a random search , make sure It's set to UnicodeText , type in the string :

Weap_HeavyMortar

Hit the button find , you should be presented with your searched string . We want to edit the anything that has to do with the ammo and the rate of fire . Edit anything you can find that is related to the MagSize .. MaxSpareAmmo .. anything that has to do with ammo let's just max it . Ammo actually comes first before the rate of fire , so once you're done editing the ammo , change the rate of fire to 999 which is the max .





After you are done with that weapons dependencies in that section , you must always remember what is done to the top must be done to the bottom . Find the other section and edit the the values just as you did to your previous one . After that's finished .. I would always save your work just in case something strange happens and you end up losing all your progress .



Nice , we just edited the ammo and the rate of fire for our weapon which is fairly easy , but .. what good is the weapon if it cant cause any chaos to your victims ? Let's do another random search and this time we will be editing the weapons projectile , speed , damage , and radius . Once the find window is open , type in the string :

Proj_Mortar

Hit the button find , you should be presented with your searched string . We want to edit anything that has to do with , damage , radius , speed , and the projectile .







Personally I would max everything out myself but you have your own ideas so I would edit them to your liking and not mine . Make sure you edit everything that has to do with what we are looking for because one without the other wont come out with good results . It's also important you understand what " Bomblets " are , those are the baby bombs that split off from the actual projectile being shot into the air .



After you are done with that weapons dependencies in that section , you must always remember what is done to the top must be done to the bottom . Find the other section and edit the the values just as you did to your previous one . Excellent ! you have just finished making a nuke lol , now let's save our fine work so nothing gets lost .



After you are finished editing everything and saving , rehash/transfer , and enjoy your new mods after a swift burn .


However ! warning ... I cant stess enough to you .. to say that you shouldn't go crazy with this weapon because .. it will cause lag , serious serious lag and with that type of lag your xbox will freeze .

A fine tip for using this weapon would be :

Shoot it in mid air by mounting it , that way it covers the whole map when it lands and kills every living thing spawned .
