How to edit weapon dependencies in Gears of war 2

Yeah, I wasn't entirely sure what that meant, but I figured it out the hard way

I'm sure there are a lot of "wtf?!'s" when people join a 9 player horde and all their weapons are full auto

Perhaps someone should create a list of all the strings so we don't have a thousand posts asking where everything is.

Just search the file, the first lot of dependencies is usually for SP and the second will be for MP.

I've been working on just that, a list of interesting strings to modify.
I've come across things like StandbyCheatTimer and MagicBullet...practically anything can be modified.

There are a whole bunch of threads for glitches and such. Why not go check them first to see if they have a video of it.

Remember that if something has been changed in a title update, changing it in the ISO will have no effect in-game.

This may sound a little obvious but if you have the "LEGIT" GOW2 installed on your xbox hdd, then try to use a modded disk without deleting the install then it wont work. Again, obvious... but it could just be something you overlooked. Good Luck to yah

For some reason this mod allows me to use some of the mods when I am not host. The hammerburst gets +accuracy and rate of fire. Weird

Yes! I've received lots of hatemail over my super hammerburst. Apparently the other players see the normal rate of fire and think they've been downed in three shots, while on my screen it fires super fast. Only the hammerburst seems to work..wonder why that is? Didn't know about the accuracy though, will have to try that out.

omg when i do this hex edit my xbox freezes when i go into a game can anyone tell me why?

This works in campaign but doesnt work in multiplayer can anyone tell me how to make this work in multiplayer?
