How to edit Gears of war experience/rank

OK i did everything but it didn't work it would not find my experience in hex it would say specified search string it it because i did not use modio cause in none of the steps did it show using modio

First off let me start by giving xdrugs ++++++++ rep on this excellent tutorial. I have done everything exactly to the tee, more than one time, but everytime I put my hard drive back together and load game up, I go to multiplayer screen and my rank is still a 23. Angry and confused. xdrugs do you or anyone else have any suggestions???

well you were right... it took me forever but i found a way through persistence haha now i just need to buy a sata to usb adapter haha

If you want to spend all that money, I went to home depot and spent $6 on torx wrenches.

Sure you have the right profile?
The size of the profile should match almost what xbox says under gamer profile.
Also go play another match and get your new exp, then look at the profile dates modified, it should be todays date as it was just modified to add more exp that you got.

Well it didnt work for me dont know why i think its because i didnt use Modio Resigner but i dont knwo when to use Modio Designer

No you wont get banned, thats not a big difference. Even if a low number changed to a 100 they wont get banned. Epic doesn't do anything for rank glitching anymore.

is this step really needed? i think i have seen a ton of tuts without this. i thought you needed to use a Hash Block Calculator OR modio not both?

You need to do the modio part with rehashing and resigning or your profile will become corrupt. But you don't need to set your rank to 99 first then you get 100. If you get the amount XP thats over the amount of 100 you'll get the 100 as soon as you load the game up.

also most tut videos dont use it. example:

look at 3:50 where it states use "either" modio or hash calc.
are you sure modio needs to be used IF you use the hash calc?
im gonna try it as soon as i get a cable but want to make sure i do it right.

ive tried hexing exp. i find one hex value corresponding to my exp value. i change this to a number [ ive tried a few all between level 99 and 100] i fire up gow2 tu5 offline and it has the wings next to my name [ even though i should be 99] and when i complete a wave of horde it doesnt give me the acheivement.... any ideas??

im gonna try and give myself like a 75 or osmething in a second, see how that goes
