Depends on which character you modded. Weapon mods work for everyone(even non host team). Things like health, regen, and speed are linked to each character. So to answer your question, yes. Some mods require you to be a certain character. I also sent you a PM. Not sure what u mean by glitch effect, if you mean mod than this should answer your question.

My lancer , my pistol , all the pistols in fact such as gorgon and bulk pistol all work off host including my hammer and sniper .

And even funnier is that I was flamed by a member on here named doeboy saying it couldn't be done , when it can .... automatic failure .

This should show you how to change the weapons. Try it yourself first, and if you still cannot do it I can make you your mod.

When you're host you can enjoy the full aspect of mods along sharing it with your teammates . However you can also do offhost mods , in which brainless fools such as ( I cant say names there are too many on this site that flame me for my theories ) Mods can also be played offhost but the only thing that is currently existing in offhost are weapon mods ... basically Rate Of Fire .

hi guys i just modded my gears 2 and i took my harddrive out and ethernet cable and then put the disc in but i get disc is unreadable error, i edited both sections in hex workshop the same and hashed it correctly then repacked the files and it stayed the same size then ran through abgx and it said crc doesnt match so it recognised i had modded it, any help with this would be grateful thx

also i took xdrugs coaels.int or whatever its called and his toc and did no editing to them and repacked them into my iso but it still didnt work. plz can someone send me a message on here or xbox gt is VI Kris IV with some help thx very much

Edit: hmm just plugged in my ethernet and harddrive and went into private with my gears 2 with drugs files packed in it and kantus is zooming around the place everywhere and he killed me with boom and got 10000 for it so it does work, dunno bout public will try tommorow, wonder if my attempt at modding my iso will work also because i didnt have the ethernet and hardrive plugged in when i tried that 1 also

Edit: some notes i played a private execution on blooddrive i was hoffman and there was a bcarmine, baird on my team and theron sentinel raam and grenadier on the other team now i could move really fast i had 219 pistol ammo and i managed to shoot raam and down grenadier in 1 shoot medium close range, the only problem is that raam and grenadier were moving slowly i mean proper slow, my concern is does this happen to my teammates and the other team or is it because i am playing private with bots

With the mod you have, only hoffman and a. carmine have the speed and health mod..and i think kantus. These are the only guys that I know of on COG that can be modded, but any locust can be modded as well.


If you're trying to rank up, I recommend keeping the mod to only 1 or 2 characters and having your party pick that character, that way the entire enemy team isn't zooming around..and let them get some kills otherwise you'll soon be playing a game of bots with perfect aiming..no fun.
Of course, you could edit the bots to make them harmless..

And on that note, I can't believe how many idiots in my party keep killing the guardian when we're trying to get points..

It's probably because you messed up somewhere a long the line .. and if you mess up and hash it can still be corrupt .

this is a new file. Nothing has been edited. If you could, just change the weapon damage to all weapons (but not all the way, only half).
Take the recoil out.
Change the torque time.
Change change were u have 1 player to start the game so i can free roam.
