How To Revert Back to Pre TU4 Settings (GoW2)

In this tutorial, I will be explaining how to revert your xbox back to pre-TU4 settings for Gears of War 2.

1. Turn off your Xbox 360
2. Unplug your internet source from your 360 (Ethernet Cable, Wireless Adapter)
3. Turn your Xbox 360 on and start up Gears of War 2.
4. Create your own Multiplayer lobby
5. Connect Xbox 360 back to internet source.
6. Sign into XBL



OR


1. Turn on your Xbox 360
2. Sign out of XBL while in the dashboard
3. Put GoW2 in and run it
4. When GoW2 Loads, it will ask you to sign in - don't sign in
5. Start a multiplayer room
6. Sign into XBL
7. It will boot you back into lobby, saying that a new account has signed in
8. Create another Multiplayer room, and voila, Pre-TU4 settings.

Once you start up a private match as host, you will find that you can ragdoll smoke, two-piece better, and do all of the glitches before TU4.

This does work when you host a public match as well!

I was in a public match with pre-TU4...I wasnt host though. Just givin you a heads up...hope it helps

It works in MM. Played against a bunch of mexicans who did this to us.

It was fun to see your old trueskill rank be able to do the meatshield, and shield glitch with any weapon, and the rag doll smokes.

I played online after, but I wasn't host, so I can't say if it still works or not.

Yeah, had this happen to me during a public game on ruins. I had missed the old smokes...

I didn't do it because I rarely ever bridge host. But it happened to me after a different tut was posted on here. Although it was through a spg it should still work.

i can confirm, if you do this, and you host a public match, the smokes WILL knock over, but old glitches have never worked for me, private or public, but doing this, if you get hit on stairs, your going all the way down...like the good ol' days

Confimed working in MM. Pissed off a bunch of mexicans when I went in and pulled off host with no one else with me. Man they got pissed when I told them that you can't bridge by yourself and that they were had no idea about what they were talking bout. They they started talking **** bout me being canadian and how much better my connection is compared to their 7 kb/s download speed.
