If your trying to do it for the achievements it would work. But if your trying to get your level back, then no it doesn't work anymore. They patched the rank side of it.

But I have a question myself though. If I do this will I lose my rank ? Like my number one ? Because I lost it already like 2 or 3 times, I don't want to lose it again lol.

Hey, would anyone happen to have a Level 50+ account that has not been updated yet? I still have yet to pop in GoW2 post-TU4 and would really appreciate it if someone could lend out a 50+ dummy account. Thank you very much.

You Cant Do That Anymore They Patch The Rank If You Even Try To Glitch The Rank You Go And The Account Your Trying To Glitch Over Gets Set Back To 1 ...Ive Try Even Deleted the update but still no Luck

Well he said he still never updated his game, or even played the game at all since the update came out, so he never even got the notice to update. I would think it would still work for him. But once you update to TU4 just once, it'll never work anymore, even if you clear cache.

even So The Server Fines Out With The XP Changing On To A XBL List It Automatically Resting It Self To (0) Plus I Dont Even Think You Could Even Play In Online Rank

no as long as you don't have TU4 and still have TU3 you can still do the rank glitch, once you update you keep the rank too.

While I honestly do not know the ins and outs of the game, I would imagine this would hold true, so I might still have a chance to glitch it.

On a similar note, I still have my dummy, 30-day trial account that has rank 100 on it. It since has expired, I can no longer play GoW2 MP, but I can still use the glitch to give myself lvl 100. Two questions now:

1) Does my rank reset if I glitch my live account to 100 and then update to TU4?

2) Is it possible to glitch my live account to lvl 100 offline, download the DLC, complete all the horde achievements, all without ever signing online and updating to TU4? (i.e., by downloading the DLC, does my game automatically update to TU4 or will it still be TU3 with the new 325gs available?)

Hey thanks for the help, much appreciated. So all the talk about how epic "had something in store for the rank glitchers" was a bunch of crap? My level 100 will be untouched and I will not be penalized in any way when I update to TU4 w/a rank 100?

Sorry to be picky, but I despise this game online and would like to avoid it at all costs and still get the 1750. Thanks again.

Well i'm not sure but you should be able to glitch to 100 with TU3 then update and still keep it, if you lose it, sorry =/ but you should keep it i hope.

To do the stickey shield glitch you have to be non-host and both the host and you must do this glitch.
