I saw someone do a weapon slide when the game wasnt laggy or anything yesterday. Anyone heard of anythinglike this?

Well since this has been brought up, I might as well ask here. I saw this one guy (I think kantus, if it makes a difference) weapon slide on Jacinto. He roadie ran all the way up to the sniper and then he slid all the way to the little pillar-like things sticking out on either side of the sniper spawn. There wasn't even a little bit of animation, I didn't notice that he took it until I saw it wasn't there and saw the message saying it was taken. I thought the guy was just planning to rush... Anyone know how to do this?
