no ammo in guns?

i felt like kicking *** in gow2 today...so i signed on just to find out that when i spawn i only had 8 shots in my shotgun!!!!!and when i picked up snipe there was 6 shots instead of 11.....what the hell is that!!!!

For the non-informed ones.
It is Gears of War 1st Anniversary, so to celebrate it is Tripple Exp from Nov 6 - Nov 19 (2009).

Shotguns will have 8 ammo, Sniper 6 ammo and other weps will have ammo in exchange for more damage.

so 1 clip of a shotgun = 3 clips damage.
Same with sniper i guess.

For some reason though host has 16 shotty to start instead of the 8... nice one epic!

Theres gonna be alot of bridging and boosting during this week. IMO its sort of annoying because everybody 2 pieces and weapon damage is increased and stuff. It should've been triple XP with regular damage. But I like how they seperated the playlists too, so we can actually play submission, king of the Hill, etc.

BTW: You get 16 ammo for shotguns not 8.

Wait is it 8? Because I was only playing on host and I got 16 not off host so idk if you get 16 also.

Its a Epic MOD by Epic, more dmg less bullets, there is a news sectio on Gow2 main menu that says this.
