Any rank you desire for Gears Of War 2

Am I doing this right? ^^

1. Go on GOW2 play a wave of horde and note down XP
2. Extract profile then use hexadecimal site to get the Hex Code
3. I use that hexadecimal code while adding on a 0 at the beginning because I have 5 digits and it finds nothing

What am I doing wrong?

What is your rank? because you need to be at least level 25.

This is what i'm wondering. I wish I could just hex edit it right now lol. I'm almost there though, i'm 18. And I don't even think its 25 though, I heard its 23 at least.

If you are able to, just try it before that. I am going to do it on a level one account that has never played matchmaking before.

Ill try it again with my 19 now, I don't really wanna play gears much anymore, so I just wanna get it up for fun, theres a double exp weekend coming sept 4 but if I play legit ill get to 25 anyway before that.

Dang, still cant find the hex value of my xp. Its wierd though because some1 earlier in this thread said they went from a 16 to a 63 so I would think its possible to do under 25.

Well from my experiences with this I have found out that my xp is stored in a Big Endian 32 bit unsigned long. If you have hex workshop then it is pretty easy to find it.

Alright finally got it to work, you do need to be a 23 for some reason, because when you are under, it wont locate your xp in hex workshop or HxD. I just did a 50. Thanks for the tutorial .

I always find my EXP I edited to another Hex code for a level then it corrupts my profile and puts me back to level 1

Is it because i'm using a memory unit for transfer?

When I had problems with it I would do everything correctly, change the hex codes, save, then when I'm done calculate the hash blocks and stuff like that but it would still come up corrupt. But then I decided to open my profile up in modio after I did all that to rehash and resign my profile, now it works everytime I do it. I just never rehashed&resigned it.

(And when your profile comes corrupt just recover it, so you can get your old rank back)

I just drag my profile from my profile into modio and then something pops up that shows your profile ID and console iDs and your gamer pic, and at the bottom you'll see a couple of options (Rehash, Resign, or Rehash & Resign), I use rehash and resign, then I just put my profile back into my HDD and load it up it works for me.

I went online and just played, and it worked for me. If nothing works for you I would help you if want.

Thats wierd. Did you do a wave of horde and write down your XP after ? I don't think double XP has anything to really do with it because I just did it for some1 earlier today.

i just can't seem to get this to work. i hit lvl 23, my exp was at 79709, that converted into 1375d. i added a 0 to make it 6 bytes and found 2 instances of it. not positive on which is right i ended up changing both of them, to get up to lvl 100. saved it, in modio i rehashed and resigned and put it back on my xbox. started the game offline and played a match, during the middle i reconnected my cord and connected to xbox live. after the game im still at lvl 23... ive tried this atleast 5 times now and im almost positive ive following all the steps. id rather not have someone do it for me as this is more of a learning experience than just trying to get rank 100.

Try looking for 0001375D in hex. Hopefully that narrows it down.

Can't Find 0001275D unfortunately. i did however find a 01275D? how do i tell if that is in the Gears of War 2 Section or whatever.

just replace both 01275d and turn your xbox on with your cable pluged in meaning turn on online

alright ill do that but can you tell me how you got 01275d in the first place? im trying to learn hexing the best i can atm.
Edit: so i replaced 01275d with 682761. resigned and rehashed with modio and put it back on my xbox and im still 23. also i only had 1 instance of 01275d, not 2.
