Yes u cannot use Cd-R besides if you could a standard cd-r can only hold up to 700MB and a game is over 4GB

So u can use
dvd-r/dvd+r/dvd-rw/dvd+rw
I would stay away from memorex because the brand sux and the disk wont last u long
i would stick with verbatim its a very good brand

But im thinking u need a dual layer disk to burn them onto a disk

Alright boys, With the Xbox 360, Xbox 360 games can ONLY be put onto a DVD+R DL. Xbox games can be put on the following:

DVD-R
DVD+R
DVD-RW
DVD+RW
DVD+R DL

XBOX 360 CAN ONLY TAKE DVD+R DL

Now, this tutorial is a little out of date, as the new version of img burn supports .dvd files, but I recommend to use Xbox Backup Creator.

Now, You can put Xbox 1 games on a DVD+R DL, but thats a waste of money.

Also, to be more correct of myself.

IF you are running Xtreme 5.2 Firmware on your Xbox 360 Toshiba-Samsung MS25 or MS28, you can burn your xbox games to a single layer dvd and use it on your 360.

and yes, in order to use this tutorial, your xbox 360 must be flashed, if you want it flashed, look in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum, I run a shop =]

Last but not least, PM me for help on how to build a Single Layer ISO to use a Xbox 1 iso on a 360.

Bye.
