Please help: Able to burn verify games (burner problem?)

ive been having problems finalizing EVERY GAME ... all of them is stuck at 50% but all of them plays well except for borderlands

I already tried burning borderlands twice on verbatim disc with image burn with the correct layer breaks, my xbox is modded with IX 1.6 . Once i pop the disc in and run the game, the screen go black, pressing the xbox button doesnt do anything. My DL burner is samsung sh 222a. When i try to install the game on the hdd, it says that its dirty or scratched but i know its not. Does anyone know whats wrong? is it my burner that i bought only 3 months ago? Thanks a bunch guys

What does it say when you run it through abgx? Does it give you any errors, or does it say verification successful at the end?

i didnt run it through agbx since i read that with the downloads now, they are usually ok no?

It depends on where you download it from. Personally I would not play any game that's not verified, because getting banned is a hassle. Go here and read about it. Also discuses burning. I did not have any problems with borderlands using the methods I discuss in the tut.

ok so its all green on agbx i burnt it and it still doesnt work, i tried to install in to hdd, this time instead of telling me that its dirty/ scratched right away, it tells me that its scratched at 6%. So is it my burner?

I had this same problem, make sure you are burning at 2.4x. Faster burns tend not to work.

I would agree. Burn on the slowest setting and see what happens.

You forgot to set the layer break.

no man i got it fixed, its image burn, my burner doesnt like image burn, clone cd works like a charm
