Well i meant different versions of ixetreme. I flashed my benq when they first put the firmware out for it. I just wanted to know if it had everything fixed with the first version? Like the kreon thing.

Yes, 1.4 fixed that and 1.41 fixed a few bugs, no security fixes in 1.41 though, might wanna update to 1.4

uhhh, I dont think so, you would need to have the right sata chipset, then be willing to take it apart and all that jazz

Hate to say this, I use these pre-programs out no like iPrep, this is kinda the manual way, I use to do it this way, then realized it took too long.

I would suggest iPrep101.

This way only takes what, 5 extra seconds? Its not that hard to do, and like I said, when this tut was made, iPrep didnt support BenQ, infact, DosFlash had barely gotten support for it

Thats where I got the pics from, it give no credit for them

But anyways, if you want to use that fine, but mine skips the steps that arent required and puts things in easier to understand terms for those new to flashing.

Oh and here is a suggestion, HOW ABOUT WE STOP THE "I PREFER THIS TUT OVER YOURS" POSTS IN HERE EH? How about we try that one for a little while

If you prefer another tutorial hows about shut your mouth and go do that one, or here is an idea, WRITE YOUR OWN? I didnt write my own tut by hand in order just to have people constantly come in here saying "You guys should use tut x or tut y"
