Great tutorial by our staff member here. Be careful with the LiteOn though, read as much as you can about it before you do it.

Are the LiteOns new for the 360s(the yelow wire in the 3rd slot)? Are there specific things you would recommend being watchful for on these?

They are new, but not too new. They are the newest of the drives, but over a year old now. Nothing particular to be watchful for, it's just a lot of people been having trouble with them. If you follow step by step you will be fine.

All drives let you play burnt games online, Hitachis are prolly the easiest, then its just down to what you are good with

i though MS ban you if you play backups online on 360 or is there a new firmwave out that lets you without detection that am not aware of?

ok am going to go out and buy 360 which dvd drive should i get,

which dvd drives reads dl discs with less errors

When they detect it they do ban

And you will get a Lite-On if you buy new

uhh, Lite-On is the hardest to flash, you have to buy $60 worth of extra hardware

Hi I just bricked a benq drive its ****ed just checked the key and its all 7777777777777777's. I thought i would try out the new Ixtreme 1.5 with iprep 8.8 what a load of ****, I done 30+ drives before no probs flash went smoothly but when i went to use it was a brick. I was just wondering if any one had a tutorial on how to get the key off the motherboard I know it can be done and I know know its probly beyond me but its got to be worth ago. So if any one has it or can link me to it thank you GINY
