| Novice | Re: How to flash a BenQ Xbox 360 Yes heres something you can try. Seems to me you are having trouble finding your SATA port numbers. Easy way to do this is go back into the DOS menu. But only type this in. dosflash and then enter the command you should get a list with all your port numbers. |

| Novice | Re: How to flash a BenQ Xbox 360 Hi, I followed this tutorial and got to the point in DosFlash where the digits are flashing but then it won't read the firmware. It just flashes until I turn the 360 off then if I turn it back on the digits start flashing again, it won't go any further. Please help, thanks! |

| Novice | Re: How to flash a BenQ Xbox 360 First great TUT by far the clearest I've found. I've read through this forum and many others but have not come accross and answer to my delema. I'm able to dump the firmware with no problem but I can't get it to 256k I've tried many, many times and it always comes out to be the same size of 219. What can I do about this. Stuck for days. At first I had the same problem others have encountered with firmware dump stopping after pressing y. I have the via chipset (vt8237) onboard, and the only way it would work for me was to put it on the #1 sata port, would see the drive on the #2 port but would stop every time so some of the people with that issue should give that a try, maybe it just has to be #1 . Anyway if some could help me with my size issue, that would be great |

| Novice | Re: How to flash a BenQ Xbox 360 On step 4 I type the command then press 'y' to the "MTK vendor intro failed..." message but no matter how many times I try turning the 360 on and off and with different timings, it won't read the firmware it just stays on "Status: 0xD1" with the 'D' flashing when the 360 is on. Any ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

| Novice | Re: How to flash a BenQ Xbox 360 Intel ICH9. it looks supported ![]() also, i cant figure out my port number on the sata in device manager? is it a 4 digit one or just simply "port 1" "port 2". is there any way the dos menu can detect it itself? heres a pic. ImageShack - Hosting :: portbq9.jpg the values are for the first intel sata 2 port entry. they are 1/0 range: e700 - e707 1/0 range: e800 - e803 1/0 range: e900 - e907 1/0 range: ea00 - ea03 1/0 range: eb00 - eb0f IRQ - 19 so what should i entry in the dos for the port? | Novice ![]() | Re: How to flash a BenQ Xbox 360 The motherboard doesn't matter, it's the SATA that does. What is the exact name of your intel? VF posted a more complete list of compatible chipsets Here. Hope that helps.
