Need help with Samsung Ms-28 Ixtreme 1.61

I have my xbox 360 currently flashed with 1.6fm. I am running Vista 32 bit and i flashed my box with this computer. Now my computer cant see my drive and there is no tutorial with indepth of how to use iprep.. I was wondering if somebody could post a tutorial or help me with what's wrong if they know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you flashed it with that computer then there should be no problem with it recognizing it. But anyway. You could use the DosFlash tutorial in my sig that is for a Benq.
Benq's and Samsungs are flashed the exact same way in DosFlash. Only thing that changes is the Firmware names.

This is the EXACT same way you flash a Samsung DVD Drive. They are both flashed the same way.

Instead of naming the firmware BenQ_CFW.bin

You would name it. Sam_CFW.bin

Oooh ok, I think i also found the reason why my computer couldn't find my dvd drive.. I never did the Open try close power off when its half way open... Do you think that may be the problem? Your tutorial is very good but it looks to confusing for me

Make sure to have your drive tray halway open before you turn on the pc. Make sure all cables are plugged in all the way.

Also it looks confusing if you have never done it before. But believe me. If you actually read through it. You will realize how easy it really is.

Ooh, So i do the drive open close trick then turn on my pc?
When i did the trick it put the drive in vender mode but jungleflasher says its there but when i click port its not there... How do i take it out of vender mode when i put it in that way with the open close halfway thin

You do not close it. You keep it open halfway the whole time.

I did, my xbox is blinking in vendor mode and idk what to do since i cant flash it cuz nothing in showing up and idkhow to take it out of vender mode!

do you know how to take it Out of venor mode? I dont want to mess up my drive =/

You have no choice but to use my tutorial now. Once a drive is stuck in vendor mode. Jungleflasher will no longer help you at all. Has to do done in DosFlash.
If you don have your original files then start from the beginning. If you have the original files then make your firmware and start where it says to erase.

Now that i read your tut again, it seems simple.. but in it what do you mean by "Power cycle your drive" ? turn ur xbox on and off?

Ok thanks for all your help lol. like i said yesterday ur da bomb haha. Is DOSFlash safe to use for flashing.. Like.. it wont get detected easily by XBL? For power cycling when i shut of my xbox my dvd drive shuts and it is taken out of vendor mode... would it be better just to remove the power cable from the back of the dvd drive and plug it back in?
